

Although Outlook 2010 and Outlook for Mac 2011 support mail2web Mobile Email Pro accounts natively, and many mobile devices support Exchange accounts, ActiveSync or even RoadSync, there are still many exceptions. With full POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP access, you can view, send, and receive email from your mail2web Mobile Email account using virtually any computer or device that does not have Exchange or ActiveSync support.
All mail2web Mobile Email accounts include inbound and outbound email access through the following protocols.
These are the standard email protocols through which you can download email to any email application. POP3 access allows you to download the contents of your inbox, and the IMAP4 protocol allows you to view your entire inbox and all your sub-folders.
Using POP3 or IMAP4, you can download your mail2web Mobile Email emails to any standard email client, including such favorites as Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Outlook Express or Windows Mail, and even Evolution or Eudora.

It is becoming more common for service providers to block access to third party SMTP services over the standard ports. This is why we also provide:
Alternative Port SMTP allows you to send email using our SMTP Server if your ISP blocks it through the standard port.
